Chicago Tribune: "...Of Love and Longing," Danielpour's piquantly appealing settings (in English translation) of three poems of erotic and spiritual ecstasy by the 13th century Persian poet Rumi played to the strengths of each as collaborator — Leonard's velvety legato singing and Isbin's acute definition of expressive nuance.

The New York Times: The lineup also featured the premiere of Richard Danielpour’s appealing “… Of Love and Longing,” set to three texts by Rumi. Evocative and melodic, his songs complemented the Spanish works: The passionate, declamatory “This Night of Love” contrasted with the gentle lilt of “Your Beauty.”
