Angela Brown Sings at Nashville Symphony CD Release
On Tuesday at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, President and CEO, Alan Valentine introduced our dear friend Angela Brown at press event announcing the release of the ‘Darkness in the Ancient Valley’ album. Angela sang the 7th song from the song cycle ‘A Woman’s Life’ which appears on the album. She was accompanied by Symphony’s pianist, Bob Marler who played a piano reduction.
Angela and Maestro Guerrero also spoke to the importance of supporting and promoting new music and the Symphony’s commitment to commissioning and recording new works. They both shared their feelings of affection and admiration for Richard’s music and his legacy as an American composer.
